| As far as I can tell, this is very close to the Honey Matte collection. The shimmer is not intense at all, it is barely there. I think that was the idea though... nothing overpowering here, you can barely see it. I definitely prefer the Honey Glow over the Honey Matte. I love the formula though. It is particularly good for the summer months if you live in a 4-seasons climate. I work over a grill under a fan that sucks all the grease up in my face, and this foundation does not cake at all, it stays looking exactly the same as when I put it on that morning. I would say that the color is a little bit lighter than pictured. I apply it with the synthetic large buffer brush from CS here: http://www.coastalscents.com/cfwebstore/index.cfm/product/1845_37/synthetic-buffer-brush-large.cfm It might work a little too well for diminishing liquids on the face if you get dry skin during the winter months, but can be supplemented with a good moisturizer. This foundation blends very well, no ugly foundation barrier lines at the edge of your face as you'd get with some liquid foundations. It also blends well with powdered blush. Looks natural, very hard to tell you're wearing foundation. | |

| when applied sheerly i didn't notice the glow it can give but when layered, it does have a satiny and honey glow finish! it's like i'm all made up with just this foundation on. my face really glows :)) so i suggest when you use this, you have to use matte blush or e/s or else you'll be glowing all over!!! :)) but this shade is perfect for me :) | |
