| I hate to write this but its the truth. I'm a NC-42 in MAC and I've tried ST-10 that was too dark, so was 09, and so was 06. It seems to leave a very orangy tone and it always made my neck appear so much lighter. I'm not a fan of this although I am of their eyeshadows and blushes! The texture however wasn't so bad, its just very hard to match the skin tone. I don't know if its because I'm naturally tan and this is made for a certain ethnicity but its not working for me. My MAC matches almost perfectly and I love it. | |

| After reading through all the comments here. I decided to try. It comes out so great using with Italian Badger Buffer Brush Large (it's not as soft as MAC 187 but the result is the same thing with way smaller price!) Anyway, I had such a hard time finding the right shade for this foundation. I recommend you to order the sample like 5-6 shades of it. I'm Asian, with tan skin (yellow undertone), usually get darker on the summer. But i found this ST-06 is too orange for me but not too dark. Lots of reviews say this shade should be perfect for Asian. I disagree! It's really orange...it's not tan, it's not yellow, it's just ORANGE! I think this shade it's just ridiculous color that's why I gave 4 stars. The product itself is worth trying...love it but not this shade! | |

| So I have always used Make-up Forever's HD foundation and it has been great but the price is just too much for me. I pay $46 and after I have gotten this product I just can't go back. Coastal Scent's hd foundation gives similar results but it is a thinner liquid, which i like because it doesn't feel heavy. I can get a full coverage without looking like I'm wearing too much make-up. I have bought st-03 and st-06 for my kit so that i can mix and match different skin tones. I self-tan so I'm darker and lighter a lot more frequently than others. I also chose to buy two very different colours for my make-up kit so that I can custom-make shades for my clients. I'm definitely going t be buying more of the darker shades for my clients who have a brown or black skintone. I just wanted to try the product out and I love it!! It's such a good price and great for pictures and video-taping!! I've learned a lot about hd foundation and the difference is normal foundation is made up of square molecules whereas hd is made up of circular molecules. Now when the light bouncing off your face it gives a blurred effect to make your skin look flawless. I'm telling you guys and gals you'll fall in love with this foundation as I did. And I wanted to also let you know that this foundation is very build able. I find that i can use one layer all over my face and instead of using concealer on my lazier days i just double-up underneath the eye are and im good to go! | |
