5 Stars Thank You
by a member from Houston, TX on Dec 25, 2008
My daddy has cancer and has very dry, sensetive skin due to the medications he is on. We have tried several differnt types of lotions and nothing has helped. Infact, they have made his skin even more irritated due to the alcohol, perfumes, etc. that the lotions have (even the "non alcohol" stuff hurts/burns him). We got the shea butter in the mail today and even though it's just been a couple of hours that he's tried this, he has already noticed a difference. The butter did not burn his skin at all nor does it leave a heavy, slippery, oily feeling on him. His hands have a nice shiny look to them (not the usual chapped, painful look they've had before shea butter). I will post another review in a few days just to make sure I give correct information on this product, but wanted to give those of you who suffer with this horrible disease some hope of relief. Thank you Coastal Scents for giving my daddy some relief and putting a smile on my face.

5 Stars Soft healthy skin
by Stine Nordskov Hansen from DENMARK on Dec 21, 2008
This is a great Shea butter! I was thinking about only giving it 4 stars, because of the smell. I do not have a big problem with the smell, but it is too strange to "wear" when going out. So this is better used in the evenig before sleeping. Next day fab skin! It smells a little like olive oil. I think all Shea butters smells. This is unrefined - and I am giving it 5 stars because it is "Fair trade". Thank you Coastal scents - wonderful with fair trade! My legs anfd hands are always dry. This works wonders. TIP: Take a piece of butter, a warm it up in your hands till it gets oily. Much easier to put on.
