8 oz of Glossi base makes 100 to 125 pots depending on jar size. With an average retail price of $5.50 to $7.50 each, a cost of .35 to .28 per pot (not including the jar + label).

Glossi Glaze base mix is completely ready to use on the lips and only needs to be colored. You can add your favorite lipstick color to this for a really simple recipe. Here at CS we add oxides, mica colors, interfines and sparkles to create our colors.

Never melt to the point of boiling, keep an eye on this part, always stir your colorants in longer than you would think needed before pouring into your containers.

5 Stars A Lifesaver

I started using this product to make lip glosses to give to my brides for touchups during there wedding and it went over so well with them they are now hooked on my glosses. Food flavoring can also be added to this mix which makes it even better. You never get to old for bubble gum lip gloss!

5 Stars so fun!
by a member from finland on Nov 9, 2008
This basemix was a great purchase! Its so much fun making your own lipgloss and quite easy! I mixed my oxides and micas in a small jar and sprayed my hand with water and added a little of the mix. I did this since I usually put a bit too much oxides which then makes the mix too brown or red. So its best to see what your mica/oxide mix looks like wet first before adding it to the base mix. This way you can create the perfect colour right away! superfun! thanks coastals!
