Citric Acid is a gluten free, kosher grade, white crystalline powder that is commonly found in citrus fruits and is used to add an acidic (sour) taste to many foods and beverages. Citric Acid is also a main ingredient in our Bath Fizzies/Bombs and is what contributes to the fizz effect once mixed with baking soda and water. Aside from creating the Bath Fizzies/Bombs, Citric Acid has been used in multiple ways including: carpet cleaner, wood brightener, and shower cleaners.
Please be aware that contact with dry Citric Acid or concentrated solutions may result in skin or eye irritation so preventative measures should be taken.
