Bronze Protege is the perfect cool toned contour shade for my light skin tone. It’s got great pigmentation and lasting power!
Love them so much , very pigmented will be purchasing more !
Color in picture deceiving
I expected the color to be more of a rust color as pictured and it's actually brown. My skin tone is MC45 (Mac foundation) and this is best used on lighter skin as a powder contour.
I love that CS finally offers blush singles for creating your own eyeshadow and blush palette combinations. These are 36 mm pans as indicated, and imo are not nearly as pigmented as some of the jumbo size forever blushes. I hope CS does not intend to discontinue those, as they are great blushes. But the pigmentation on these blush pots can best be described as medium-sheer. Some colors, such as Orchid Red , Cheery, Invigorate, and Valentine are deep in color but do not swatch as heavy as they would seem. The formula and texture on these overall is rather smooth, silky, and dry, which makes these blushes a bit sheer, yet the color is buildable. And that's not necessarily a bad thing. I swatched the colors with clean, dry fingers on dry skin, and a few of them I found difficulty getting a decent swatch. Which only stands to reason that over moist skin these will be much more pigmented. Many of the shades are rich in color, and a delicate application is best to avoid a clownish look. Bronze Protege is a cool deep brown that is probably meant for contouring. Invigorate is a rusty, burnt cedar red that I absolutely love! The color range is neutral to natural, with a few bright pops, and I hope CS can expand further.
