the quality was perfect!
Not my favorite shimmer
Looks beautiful in swatch but doesn’t perform that well on the eyes. Kind of fades away
Great duocrum shade.
This shade is a greenish gold. Goes well with gold shadows, green shadows and some brown shadows.
A must have
I am very very pale with green eyes and I think this is one of the best shadows I have ever used. I cannot think of how to describe it dark goldenrod is a a great name for it because it is a dark goldeny color but it has warmth and depth to it almost like green and brownish warmth (I am new to eyeshadow so I don’t know how to explain it all I know is it looks amazing on my eyes) I have found it’s best if I used like a eye shadow brush/ packing brush to get most of the hot pots on my lids then go in with a blending brush and at the end of my eyeshadow makeup if I feel it’s a little light I’ll go in with the packing brush and add a little more to my lid since some colors sheer out when blended. Such a lovely warm glowy color one of my absolute favorites!
This shadow doesn't look like much in the pot - just your average golden color so I hadn't tried it yet but this morning I decided I"d wear it. I LOVE IT! It has a slight brownish red tint and olive-gold tint to it. It compliments my hazel (lightbrown/green) eyes so much that it might become my new favorite. A must for brown, green, or a mix eyes.
So pigmented and such a beautiful cplor
Unique Color But Didn't Last
I was so excited to get this shadow because of its greenish red duo chrome shift but it didn't last very long on my lids even with eyeshadow primer.
AH!! This is so nice! It's a duochrome shadow with a reddish brown base and greenish gold flip! Just the right amount of shimmer. It's a light/medium colored shadow. Awesome!
Dark Goldenrod Review
I have a medium and fairly neutral (barely warm side) skin tone. this color doesn't have much pigment but it builds easily and blends extremely well. There are definitely green undertones but they are so pretty with the color. If you are looking for a very gold, gold - this is not it but 18 Karat would be. This is a on the shimmery side with some satin to it.
SO STUNNING! You need this color!
OMG! I LOVE This Shade! the picture doesnt do it justice. so smooth & Pigmented, i get a lot of compliments when i wear this shade! it's a great buy, get it! i definitely recommend!!
