- creme shadow
At first I thought this was just pure grey, or steel as it were, with the dark silver shimmer most prominent. But after layering it on top of flesh colored creme shadow as a base, and then foiling it- it DOES have a green sheen. Not an iridescence, mind you- a *sheen*. So it works well with transitions. Reccommend if you want to use a shimmered green (not too vibrant) and don't know what else to use with it.
I ordered this shade to go with eleven others for a cityscape palette. I wanted sort of an asphalt rainbow. Gritty color that was still sophisticated. This was my green shade. I appreciate that it's not full-on green. To me it's a luxurious khaki leaning toward olive drab with a slate sheen. Think how Michael Kors does utilitarian fashion -like fatigues made out of cashmere- and you'll be headed in the right direction.
the payoff is great, but I don't think this has much of any green in it. It still look so pretty
Love this shade, it's smooth & creamy also easy to blend. It comes across more of a taupe accented shade for me though. Neverless great shade, endless combinations with this one & a great staple.
nice shimmery color but you only see the green if it's next to other grays otherwise it's just mossy grey
This is a really nice, dark, super shimmery, vintage steel gray color. I have light pink toned skin and i do not get any greens thrown. This is actually a repurchase for me. maybe the newer one will have a more green payoff since the last one i bought was about 4 years ago
This colour is wonderful! It is super pigment and has some sparkle! The description does say it has metallic green undertones however on my pale skin I do not see them. This colour would be lovely paired with Peach Fuzz.
I can't think of anything bad to say about this product. I love it!
This color is similar to Gypsy Gold but has much better payoff. It is a gorgeous shade so if you are thinking about buying it, just do! You won't regret it. Here's a swatch of it: http://www.lifesentropy.com/2013/01/coastal-scents-hot-pots-review-pictures.html
This olive hot pot is highly pigmented. It works great for a smokey eye. Must have in your collection. You will not regret buying this inexpensive amazing eyeshadow.
