These are highly pigmented and high quality! I love all the CS palettes!
So pigmented, not powdery, super creamy and easy to blend... even the dark colors and shimmery shades! I love this palette even more than I thought I would!
I wasn't sure what to create with the perfect smoky palette, that is, until I sat down, and began working with the pigments. I experienced complete satisfaction with shades I thought might not work for me. Very blendable, Lasted about five hours. I think you might have fun with this palette too.
Great eye palettes very pigmented loving the new ones!
Revealed 3 is almost an exact shade match for Urban Decay's ***** 3 Palette. In my opinion, the formula for Revealed is better than Urban Decay. I own all of the Urban Decay palettes and have done a side by side comparison of the pigmentation and color or the matching shadows in the Revealed palette and found that the pigmentation in the darker shades of Revealed was stronger than the Urban Decay, meaning it will take less shadow to achieve the same color look. Revealed gives you 20 shadows vs 12 in Urban Decay. The colors are so spot on that if you did not know, you would not know which color is in the $54 Urban Decay palette. I find that Revealed goes on easy, is a lot more blendable and does not have the degree of fallout that Urban Decay shadows have. I have to brush back and forth over and over to get Urban Decay blended, but one or two light swipes with my brush will blend the colors I have chosen in the Revealed palette together. If you want more intensity in color, just load your brush with color and spray brush with setting primer. You will not believe the intensity you will get, but can still easily blend shades together. I do recommend using an eyelid primer for longer wear and a setting spray to set your completed shadow look.
If you are ever looking for an almost exact color match for the Urban Decay ***** Palette, then Revealed is the one you should try. With Revealed, you get 20 shades, so more bang for the buck. The formula of the Revealed shadows and Urban Decay ***** palette is different. Urban Decay doesn't blend quite as easily as Revealed. I also get a lot of fallout from Urban Decay's palettes and less from Revealed. The pigmentation in all the Revealed palettes is very good. The shadows are easily blended and transition into one another beautifully with minimum effort. I dropped my Urban Decay ***** palette the other day and four of the colors broke into pieces. I was keeping it only for comparison as I also do written and photographic comparisons cosmetic reviews for several companies. I had already swatched the two palettes side by side for my comparison reviews when I first received the Revealed. I will not be trying to find a replacement for the Urban Decay *****, as I love the Revealed palette so much more. If you want a more intense eye with Revealed, all you have to do is load the brush and then spray with setting spray and it helps the color stay exactly where you want it, but it is still easily blended to shade out any demarcation. The only issue I have with Revealed and the reason it does get a five star rating for me, is because for $20, I feel I should get stronger packaging and a mirror.
The Revealed Smokey Palette has 20 shades of beautifully pigmented shadows that are almost exact dupes of the Urban Decay Smokey Palette except with more shades. The shadows are easily applied, very easily blended, last all day and do not muddy. I do recommend that you use a lasting eyelid primer before applying the shadows and a setting spray after your eyes are completed. You can easily build the shades. These shades are every bit as pigmented as the Urban Decay and frankly, are much easier to work with than Urban Decay. I have both palettes and reach for this one more. If you want a more intense look, load your brush with shadow and spray with setting spray. It will give the a huge amount of intensity. Great shadows. The only issue I have with any of the Revealed palettes is that there is no mirror and the packing is cardboard.
So many beautiful color combinations possible with this palette. Love all the colors
The formula of Coastal Scents Mattes are great. It's a nice warm leaning color story. You can create nice basic looks.
My four grown professional daughters and I share the house they were raised in. It is a huge home and we all love each other company and enjoy doing things together. We all love makeup and playing around with various looks, so when one of us goes on a makeup spree, we know all of us are going to turn it into a party. I love matte. This palette is a variety of cool and warm tones mattes that apply smoothly, blend easily have only a little fallout. The entire top row is cool, with a few neutrals on the bottom and then warms. The shadows last with a setting spray and don't muddy. They are great shadows and very reasonably priced. I bought all the palettes in the Revealed line.
