2. Powder Buffer (Synthetic) in the 22 Piece Brush Set (34.95)
Okay, first off, I'm not 100% sure these are the same brushes, but I'm 99% sure that they are. If so, then this brush is the frigging Bomb.com I bought this brush set maybe 3 or 4 years ago (I can't even remember) and I never used this brush. I honestly don't even remember why or when I decided to use this brush but boy am I glad I did. I find it very comparable to the Morphe M439, which if you go on Youtube, everyone and their momma will absolutely RAVE about this brush. Now, I am not a makeup professional (yet...with a bit of guidance a little motivation I can be) but I absolutely love this brush. I have all types of foundation brushes, you name it. All types of brands too, including MAC, Morphe, I even have a couple Chanel face brushes and for some reason I always come back to this one. I don't remember ever having a problem with hairs falling out or anything like that. My Chanel #7 stippling brush loses hair like you can't imagine, but I absolutely have no problems with this. I'm so happy I decided to use this and not toss it out like I was going to. Thanks Coastal Scents for not breaking my pockets and having awesome brushes <3 love you guysss PS: The only reason I have this brush a 4 is because the handle could be a little better. I feel like its a little too long. I personally prefer a shorter handle.
It's been a long time since I felt either this ripped off, or this stupid, and frankly I'm not sure which it is. I am a student and because of the rave reviews, this brush was an extravagant gift I purchased for myself after saving piggy bank money for 3 months to afford it. I really can't tell you how disappointed I am in either my own ability to use a makeup brush or in this particular one. The bristles clump together into points so it's like a stipple brush, but my stipple blends out better. This does not evenly distribute product, it leaves me blotchy and mottled (yes, I buffed, no, I don't use too much product, yes, I'm sure, I only use a few drops), and yay, it's the most expensive brush I own. If it's me, I guess I'm not qualified to use larger C.S. brushes.
perfect for liquid fundaci_n
I love this pencil, but i used it only for liquid fundation
This brush was part of my 1st order with Coastal. I am always looking for the next best foundation brush and decided to try this one. I am REALLY happy with how well this performs. I have used it on a variety of liquid foundations- from the very thin and watery to the thicker, almost mousse like ones. It has performed well with all of them. It evenly blends the foundations without leaving streaks and performs as well and sometimes better than my other very expensive brushes. This is a must have.
