It's my favorite!
I haven't really tried anything from Coastal scents but always wanted to!. So when they were having the brush sale I grabbed this guy! When i got it the silver was a tad loose but I twisted it on really tight and it's been fine since then. IT'S SOOOO SOFT! And applys foundation and blends beautifully! I only get one brush bristle everyonce in a while for shedding wise. But I use it for foundation, concealer under my eyes, powder, everything! I must get another!!! I highly suggest it!!!
This brush started off really great. But as I used it ever more the bottom of the sliver (the metal part) started to loosen up and eventually the whole top part of my brush just fell apart. I just bought this brush on Cyber Monday and received it a few weeks later. I did not have this brush long enough for it to fall apart like that. Although, it is a great brush, I'm just not sure if the quality is worth it. There is a lot better brushes out there for a cheaper price and better quality than this.
I love this brush! It's so soft and does the job every time. When I deep clean my brushes this one stayed its original shape. The only thing is that I would have lowered the price maybe $1-2 because it is a little tall than I wanted. It can't even fit in my makeup case. I would recommend this brush to any makeup girls out there! CS you did it again!
Great brush for packing in liquid foundation. Its my favorite flat top kabuki from Coastal Scents it really does leave a flawless finish with an airbrushed look!!!
I bought this brush originally because I had heard loads of good things about the Bionic Flat Top Buffer and came here to buy that brush. Unfortunately when I called, I was told that the Bionic brush had been discontinued. I specifically asked, discontinued, or just out of stock? I was told *definitely discontinued*, and the lady on the phone recommended this brush as the closest substitute. Note: Two weeks after receiving this brush, the Bionic brush was suddenly available again, which I was really unhappy about, but I suppose that's a different topic. As far as the brush itself, I really like it. I bought it to use for the application of pressed mineral powder, which is the only foundation I use. It does the job well and blends nicely. The bristles are nice and soft. My one gripe about it is that the brush detached from the ferrule (the metal part) after the THIRD washing. This includes the first recommended washing after getting the brush. I was really surprised. I own many MAC brushes, some of them for longer than 10 years, and they've been been washed many, many times, and I've never had one fall apart on me. I do know how to properly wash and dry brushes, so this wasn't due to technique. For the record, I own several other CS brushes and none of those have fallen apart. It's possible that this particular brush was just defective. Technically speaking, this isn't a huge deal since I have glue and I know how to use it. The brush has since been fixed and is good as new. Overall, I think Coastal Scents is a good company and I won't hesitate to buy from them again. Their low prices allow you to experiment comfortably, and if something doesn't work out, it's not a lot of money wasted.
