I agree with joy
It's great for contouring!! I actually feel like it helps me be precise without looking like I put lines on my face. It's a unique, helpful little brush. You do have to buff out with another brush after you use it, so it's not really a stand alone, but I got great results.
My New Fave!
The Classic Kabuki Dome fits perfectly in the hand and is so easy to use. I have begun to use this as my contour and blush daily, then I smooth out the application with a large handled powder brush. It makes the application more precise with this domed kabuki. I used to pinch a classic style kabuki to achieve the same effect. Now it comes "perfectly pinched" for precision. Oh, and soooo soft. J'adore!
I bought this brush specifically for contouring and highlighting due to the dome shape. I attempted to use it three times, first with contouring my [other brand's] blush powder in Harmony, then contouring with my cream conceler camouflage palette by coastal scents and finally with my [other brand's] powder higlighter. All three times it was awful! This brush is way to pointed and stiff which caused my makeup to look like I was drawing or painting lines on my face. Due to the pointed shape (not dome) and extreme stiffness it is very hard to work with for powders or creams and It does not blend well at all. I would compare this brush to an extremely thick, hard and pointy paint brush with cheap fibers. Do not waste your money this brush is useless!:(
