Prefer their other line
Let me start off by saying I am a Coastal Scents junkie. I'm obsessed with their hot pots and brushes. (More so eye brushes) With that being said, this is the ONLY elite line brush that I own and I was surprised to find the bristles resemble plastic. This brush is flat and teeny tiny. As it isn't my favorite I do like it for highlight in the inner corner.
Ouch! That point HURTS
Firm brush, hold product. Point is much more sharp than you might think. I use to add small product to the lash line, but have to be really careful the point on this brush is not very forgiving. I wouldn't not buy again for that reason and I wouldn't give to a friend for that reason either.
Great for fine lining gel/liquid
This brush is so stiff and pointy that it actually pokes and it rather painful, truthfully, which is odd for me to say. However, it s REALLY good for gel liner, fine lining liquid liner. Did not find it easy to use from much else. Not for pinpoint highlighting with powder either. Some cream shadows were ok with it, but not a brush you can use to apply AND blend. I seriously suggest sticking to liner with it.
Awesome For Lips!
I use this brush to apply any sort of lip product. It is just the right size for lips, and the perfect point makes doing your top lip easy. It does not shed at all and it's synthetic, so it is perfect for liquids/creams. It is also very sturdy and is easy to wash even though the bristles are very light in color. It is also slightly flat which I like.
