Must Apply Over White Cream Base
Since it's a matte light shade, it needs a white cream base to stick to in order to get the best color payoff. This way it comes off as a beautiful Tiffany blue. Without the white cream base, it mixes with my skin tone and looks like a light muted greenish-blue.
Azul claro mate, Pigmenta bien con una buena base porque si no se pierde enseguida.
Sheer but workable
The picture accurately depicts the color in the pan, but this shade is much more sheer and powdery in swatches and on the eyes. It isn't patchy, but if you blend too much the shadow will come right off your eyelid. The way to use this color is to layer it on top of a white cream base. That way, you get a very bright, pigmented shadow look.
I bought this shadow because one review said it was a Tiffany blue color. I had pretty high expectations because I have purchased many products from CS before that I love (but also hearing CS eyeshadows can be hit or miss when purchased in pan form.) While this is a Tiffany blue color in the pan, it comes out not-so-vibrant and a big chalky. It is more of a pain to use than anything because its a hard color to use and you have to have a good color base to make it vibrant. I will probably not be repurchasing this product.
matte aqua color. pic is very close. not very bright but with a good base this color is beautiful.
