Great product to start with
When I bought these hot pots, I had just started my makeup journey. I didn't have enough money to spend $6 per eye shadow so I discovered Coastal Scents. I was a little weary about buying product from here because I hadn't heard much about it from beauty gurus on YouTube. But these shadows are so amazing, I instantly feel in love. Not only are they affordable, but they are also POC friendly and show up on a wide range of skin tones. Even though I'm able to afford the ore expensive makeup now, these are still one of my favorite companies to buy from.
Bold and Unique!
Super bright, bold red color. Very pigmented without primer. * For skin tone reference I am NW50 in MAC, and this looks GREAT on dark skin!*
love this color and its a great as a blush too on my medium light brown skin
Vibrant, unique color
This shadow is just as bold and beautiful as the picture shows, and is very opaque. It feels slightly powdery to the touch, but that does not hinder its performance on the eye and there is very little fallout. A good way to use this shadow is to warm up a smokey brown eye by using this as a transition shade while blending. The only con is that this shadow is so pigmented that it can stain the eyelid, but this can be avoided if a good base or primer is used.
