I've been getting things from them for a while and love it. I just miss that there used to be so many more color choices.
The colors on the site are lighter than when you get them, but every one I've ordered (a lot) is awesome. Super smooth to put on with a brush or my finger. The best I've used and no, I wasn't paid to make this review :)
I can't tell a difference in the color between chai spice and light bronze, but I much prefer the formula of light bronze and definitely wouldn't purchase them both. Chai spice is more chalky and less buttery with less color payoff.
The formula for this shadow is smooth and pigmented. The color isn't as warm as in the photo. On my monitor it almost looks like there is a hint of plum, but there isn't in person. This is a medium-dark brownish golden bronze color with a shimmer finish.
I love this color; it is so pretty and it blends extremely well. It's a go to for me almost any time I am doing a brown look; very pigmented with a beautiful satin finish. There is some fallout but I think that is true of every shadow that's not a cream and it wipes away very easily. I have a medium and fairly neutral (barely warm side) skin tone. Also, I strongly recommend looking at some swatches first in all my reviews because the colors usually don't look the same as they do on the CS site- to me at least - and sometimes it's a night and day difference. I'd hate to see someone get a color they aren't expecting and judge them all based on that one experience because the shadows are amazing with very few exceptions.
I purchased a few shades during the 99 cents sale and I've been blown away by the quality. Chai Spice is a nice every day bronze-gold color. I haven't noticed much fallout when I use it, and it could definitely be played up for a more dramatic look.
I really like this color. It has a nice luster when applied to the lid. I like to pair it with a matching matte brown within the shade range and make a smokey look
The color of this shadow is a bronze color, is nice to apply and has good pigmentation. It looks darker in the pan than the picture but looks similar to the picture when applied. Similar to New Penny but more brown, less warm. These two look very much the same on picture but look much more different in real life.
A gorgeous brown, I love pairing this with maroon berry (in the crease and chai spice all over the lid). Looks AMAZING on brown eyes and brings out the lighter tones in them. Super smooth and creamy and VERY pigmented, depending on the light it can be a warm brown, and in others it look like a neutral brown. I would recommend using a semi stiff fluffy brush to apply and get the maximum shine that this beautiful shadow offers.
