This black looks very impressive in the pan. It also looks decent went swatched. IT DOES NOT LOOK GOOD WITH YOU TRY TO APPLY IT WITH A BRUSH. The only way I can get a decent color is by wetting the brush and then dipping into the pan. Now I just have a really sheer black eyeshadow that I can't use unless I scrap off a little bit and apply it with a brush dampened with Mac Fix+.

Great quality!

I love this shadows, im sooo happy with my purchase!

Buy Stone Cold instead, or Dark Chocolate

On Black Friday I bought Gunmetal, Stone Cold, and Dark Chocolate. My take-away, buy Dark Chocolate if you are looking for a warm dark grey and Stone Cold if you are looking for a cool dark grey. They both perform better -- more pigment, smoother application.

Not as expected, but still beautiful

Firstly, let me say that I did a swatch of this color with the Think Pink palette on my blog. Now, I was definitely expecting this color to be a much richer and more opaque black. I was initially really disappointed because it was more sheer than I had anticipated. Now that I see the individual pan I understand that it's intended to be SEMI-opaque. Regardless, there's a LOT that you can do with this color; especially in the Think Pink palette since it won't drown out the richness of the other colors. I didn't really get glitter when I applied it, but I like that because I didn't look like a disco ball exploded on my eyelids when I was done since the pinks are so shimmery (which I love). If you want a smoky black that won't completely kill your natural smoky eye then this is the pan for you! Because it's semi-opaque it's much more forgiving if you have a heavy hand. Go for it!

Not my favorite

I like this black especially because of the pink glitter but its a big ashy and hard to apply. its pretty pigmented though.
