not very pigmented
You have to apply a lot of this eyeshadow to get it to show up as the color it is in the pan.
SO this is a super soft shadow and goes on nicely, it's pretty light and sheer, but not in a lack of pigmentation way, that's just how the color is. It's not plum at all, it's more of a light, warm pink with silver shine to it
I have tan skin and I put this color on for the first time, and I was worried it would be too light. It actually looked really nice I think. It has good pigmentation and blends really easily with other colors. It is not powdery or chalky, it's actually really smooth. The color is not exactly like the picture, it can look kind of pinkish or purple or silver depending on the lighting. It's really gorgeous though, it looks really nice as a whole lid color paired with Tyrian Purple in the crease because Tyrian Purple is similar in tone but just a few shades darker. :)
This is a pot from my 1st purchase from Coastal Scents. This will definitely be a favorite of mine for lazy days. It's a beautiful color. Shimmery, light purplish-grey. A quick sweep across the lids with some soft brown or medium to dark mauve as eyeliner is a great casual look for work or whatever. It would also be beautiful as a highlight color. I have to disagree with CS on one thing: to me it looks more semi-opaque than opaque; it doesn't completely hide the skin tone of my lids. Maybe I just don't pack it on the way others do. To each her own:)
A Good Shadow
It is what the description says: "A warm mauve hue that delivers a shimmer finish." It really isn't a silvery purple. And it does not deliver a metallic finish. I was under the impression it was a frosty purple, which it is not. I really do like the shade though. It's fantastic quality, but not the color I expected.
