vibrant wow blue!
bright gorgeous amazing! lighter then peacock blue but along those lines this is a unique awesome shadow
Color, Texture, Lasting Power and consistency are as good as high-end
I received Eyeshadow Sample #25 with a recent purchase- which included 'Summer Rain' (a silver), 'Coastal Cliff' (a matte blue-grey), "Fools Gold' (a matte goldenrod), and this lovely shade. While none of the shades are flattering on me, or something I'd wear, I am so impressed with them. I bought a ton of Hot Pots about a year and a half ago, and was so excited about them. They were hard, chalky, poorly-pigmented, and looked patchy on. I ended up throwing all 12 of them away and using the palette for deported Urban Decay shadow. These shadows aren't even in the same ballpark. They are highly pigmented and extremely smooth (much more so than the 88 palettes I bought them with). The mattes are not chalky, and stay shockingly true to color when swatched. But this blue- it stands out among them. I prefer the texture to any high-end shadow I own (Urban Decay, MAC, Dior, Smashbox, Lancme)- it really is buttery, and so finely-milled. The color is bright, and very aquatic, like a calm sea on a sunny day. It has shimmer that is eye-catching, but still classy, and while it was *exactly* the same color as in the pan over a base (I use UDPP in Eden), it looked really darned good when I was playing around with it without a primer. These shadows are an amazing deal. After feeling burned by Coastal Scents for my previous purchase I swore I would never buy any of their non-palette cosmetics again, but this has completely changed my mind.
