Not golden, but neutral toned satin yellow
Not golden as described. It's a neutral-toned lightish yellow. Satin finish. Soft with good pigmentation. Nearly identical to Pale Pollen.
lots of fall out and the pigmentation is patchy
Depending on the look I'm doing I will use a matte yellow shade as a base or a browser bone highlight. Matte yellows can really brighten the eyes when used this way and I wanted to get a hot pot of a matte yellow because I was going through the foxy shade in my naked basics palette. This yellow is a bit pastel yellow, but not too pastel, it actually makes me think of Scarlet from Gone With the Wind. It does make for a nice base or highlight color, it blends well and the pigmentation is right on point.
More yellow than expected
Don't get me wrong it's a nice shadow, but it's more yellow than I expected, I thought it'd just be a hint of yellow, but it's a TON more. It's a little chalky, and settles into my fine lines, which I mean for the price you kinda have to just deal with
Shimmery Pastel Yellow
I purchased this shadow with the impression that it would be a satin ivory/gold shade. To me, a satin is a finish that hangs in limbo between matte and shimmer, and is personally one of my favorite finishes. I was incredibly excited about this shade, as I own nothing even remotely similar in my entire makeup collection. Upon swatching I found the online picture to be completely inaccurate. This shadow comes off as a lovely pastel yellow. It is definitely more shimmery than what I was expecting from a satin finish, but that seems to be the case with all the satins I received and is absolutely gorgeous. I can definitely see this as being a lovely inner corner highlight during the spring and summer.
