The color is definitely not "maroon" to me at all, it's just a medium-dark red. Sounds the same but when you see it, it's quite red and lack that tiny bit of brown that real maroon has. I do like this finish though, a nice satin/semi-matte. This particular hot pot isn't as pigmented as the others but it does layer well and blends out nicely
Which one of these things is not like the others? This one.
First of all let me say that i DO like this hot pot. It's a lovely color, it's good quality, and it's definitely going into my regular palette rotation. With that said, I just don't think this color goes with all the other "vibrant" hot pots. All the other vibrants are matte finish and this is .... not. I wouldn't go so far as to say it's shimmery, but it certainly isn't matte. Satin perhaps? Anyhow, if you have any of the other vibrant hot pots and are thinking you need to add this to your collection, just be aware that it isn't quite the same as the others, but still a nice product.
