Review on Bordeaux, Flame, Fuchsia, and Crystal
All of these Lip Tube/Glosses are a bit sticky, smell good, last for about 3 or 4 hours, they are pretty big, and I only need a little to give me a really glossy look! To start off, I'm a person with light skin and freckles, I'm saying this because some of these colors may look different on different toned people! First I'll review Bordeaux, this color is sort of like a mix between brown and red with gold sparkles and it goes good over a lipstick or just on it's own. Next is Flame, on the website it looks really bright red but it's actually more of a hot pink/red type of color! Flame has an iridescent sparkle in it, and it also wears good over a lipstick or by itself. Next is Fuchsia, the photo they have on the website looks like it has big gold sparkles and is a pink shimmery tone. When I got it though it actually looked like a nude pink with big sparkles and no shimmer, till I applied it, it actually did have a light pink shimmer to it and looks really good with the big sparkles! Fuchsia sort of made me look like I have no lips but I can always fix that by just adding a darker lipstick underneath! Last is Crystal, it is pretty much the basic clear that would go perfect with really anything!
If you love juicy tubes...
You'll like these. Out of curiosity, I purchased Flame, which I had hoped would turn out to be an opaque flame red. As it turns out, the color "square" is actually more acurate than not in color suggestion. The color of Flame turned out to be a fruit punch-y, cool toned pinky red, with fine iridescent sparkles. I did like the consistency, as it reminded me more of lipglass than juicy tubes, smooth, shiny and sticky. From the little bit that I applied, the formula lasts on the lips for quite a while, and you will not need to reapply often. The color selection is not that impressive, and no, these are not opaque. You will get a hint of color, from medium sheer to sheer, depending. If you want a good quality lip gloss with a touch of color and loads of shine, you will enjoy these. Also, the gloss I got smelled lightly like baby powder, if you are wondering about scent, though I can't speak for the whole collection.
