Using this makeup mixing tray gives me great flexibility as I custom blend products for my client. Having more than one tray on jobs with multiple clients provides a sanitary approach to customized makeup artistry.
Glad I Bought This
It's hard finding a foundation to match my weird skin tone so I'm always having to mix shades together. This tray was exactly what I needed. I'm so glad I bought this1
Perfect for the whole look...
I have two stainless steel professional palettes that I was using. However, you run the risk of mixing your eyeshadows and foundations on the same flat surface. This is lightweight, has several wells. I tend to use the smaller ones to mix and max my foundations...add a drop of liquid glow or a bit of another color to make your perfect color. I also use it for when I don't want a completely matte look and mix a bit of tinted moisturizer with my all day matte foundation. If anyone does this for a living you know how hard it is to use the darker foundation on the outside of the face and hope the second foundation for the center of the face doesn't run into the darker foundation. I used to stay away from my loose pigments and eyeshadows, but I am having so much fun now that I have a palette with so many opportunities. For a quick cleanup I keep lysol wipes in my makeup room or just wash it off at the end of each day. Many days I will just use a baby wipe to go ahead and wipe out the unused foundation before I leave the house as I wash my hands after finishing my face. I hope this helps you as much as it has truly helped me with my professional work as well as my own work at home. It is awesome. For professional work I used some self stick velcro and it stays around my hand for the best use. LOVE THIS!!!
Not worth $8 or ever $4
You can find the same thing at Michaels for 99 cents! And they have different shapes and sizes.
Looks smaller in the picture but its actually bigger in person so that was an added plus!!!
